Advocates FC, our beloved football club, stands as a pillar of support for our charity, Advocates and Angels. With every match played and every goal scored, this dedicated group of individuals demonstrates their unwavering commitment to our cause. Advocates FC embodies the spirit of teamwork, camaraderie, and the drive to make a difference in our community. Their passion on the field is mirrored by their passion for our charitable efforts, making them true advocates for positive change. Through their dedication, Advocates FC not only inspires on the pitch but also serves as a beacon of hope and support for Advocates and Angels, helping us continue our mission to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. Together, they exemplify the power of sport and friendship.
Swansea City invited Advocate FC – our incredible charity team made up of bereaved parents, hospital dads, and supporters to their official training ground at Fairwood. And we didn’t just get a tour… we trained with the pros.
Lawrence Vigouroux, Josh Key, and club legend Lee Trundle joined us on the pitch for a full training session. For a team that raises funds and awareness for families navigating child loss, disability, hospital stays, and ongoing care, this meant the world.
The day was about more than football. It was about visibility. It was about showing that our stories deserve a place on every pitch, in every conversation, and that even in grief or chaos; we still turn up.
Massive thank you to Swansea City for giving Advocate FC space to be seen, and for helping us turn pain into purpose.
