At Advocates and Angels we are a small charity with a huge ambition to grow, raise more funds and help even more families than we are now.
This role will include working alone and part of a team.
We are looking for Level 4 qualified counsellors to volunteer with our charity Advocates And Angels.
Your role may include
- Giving support to women who have suffered trauma during pregnancy/birth
- Support women who have had a medical diagnosis on the unborn child
- Support women who have lost a child
- Undertake a initial client assessment session
- Keep the database up to date
- Attend CPD training to keep knowledge current
- Attend monthly meetings
What we need from you
- Good level of people skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Organisational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Energy and enthusiasm no matter the weather
